We are very excited to introduce the host for our September Session… Millicent Sarre.
Millicent is studying Law and French at the University of Adelaide. She graduated from Pembroke School in 2012 with Colours in Drama and Music and the award for Outstanding Service to the Arts. For the 2013-2014 academic year she was awarded music and dance scholarships to attend Graceland University, Iowa, USA. There she was heavily involved in the arts program, most notably performing as Audrey in the homecoming musical Little Shop of Horrors (2013, Graceland University).
Since 2008 Millicent has been a vocal student of Kim Spargo, who has taught her just about everything she knows about singing. Some of her favourite past roles include Sally Brown in You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown (2015, Hills Musical Company), Margot in Legally Blonde: The Musical (2014, Hills Musical Company), Beth in Little Women (2013, Therry Dramatic Society), Belle in Beauty and the Beast (2011, Swell Productions) and Millie Dillmount in Thoroughly Modern Millie (2010, Pembroke School).
Her dream role is Glinda in Wicked and has noticed with a great deal of interest that the amateur rights to the show are now available… When she is not onstage, Millicent is a teacher at Theatre Bugs and enjoys cooking, running, riding her bike and her puppy, Mr Douglas.
Come and join Millicent as she introduces you to a bunch Adelaide performers, and, no doubt, sings a song or two herself!
